ABOUT 1 in 100 children and their families are touched by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Canberra.
Autism Asperger ACT is an active, local association that helps people of all ages affected by an autism spectrum disorder – and their carers and families. We provide comprehensive advice and support, starting with parents of newly diagnosed children; seminars and workshops for family, carers and professionals alike; a well-stocked library; newsletters; and friendly support groups and meetings with informative speakers. The association also liaises with governments to improve services. We receive no ongoing government funding, and welcome any donation, big or small.
